How to Configure Load Balancing - Teltonika Networks

We set the load balancing ratio to 3 for the mobile interface and 2 for the LAN interface in the video. And for example, let's say we have four computers, with 50 total connections going to the Internet. With the load balancing settings we have just set, roughly 60% of data connections will go through the mobile interface and 40% through a wired.

Can I use load balancing in conjunction with port based VLAN to direct two LAN ports via SIM1 and one via SIM2? I need to regulate data usage in a home working setting - for personal devices and business devices on the same LAN, requiring private data via one SIM and business data via the other. Hi! For livestreaming porpose, what router do you recommend? Do you have any routers capable of bonding? I want to be able to combine signals from 2 sim cards for a stable connection. I was looking at RUT955, but I was wondering if failover offer a smooth transition between sim cards or it will not offer a stable connection when swithing. Thank you!

I believe you cannot run Failover and Load Balancing at the same time. So with this in mind, if I configure for Load Balancing only, and set it to 50/50 over dual sims what happens if one sim goes down? Do 50% of connections just fail? Or does it mark the failed SIM as offline and send all traffic to the remaining SIM. (This is on a RUTXR1 running latest firmware)

Hello, i would like to ask for failover and load balancing at the same time?


for example:
WAN1 cable internet 500Mbits download / 30Mbits upload
LTE SIM1 80Mbit download / 80Mbits upload (FUP limit 100GB)

as the primary connection, i wish use WAN1 and LTE SIM1 as a backup, but i wish only for upload task (outgoing traffic) which will take more than 5 - 10s switch to LTE SIM1, where upload capacity is more than two times higher ... the better case is summing both connection upload capacity :)

OR

can i add any routing rules for all "upload hungry traffic" connections that will go through the "upload faster" interface?

used HW: RUTX11 or RUTX12 (or even better ?)

Hi. Is there any option to run both: load balancing and failover? In my case I have 2LTE devices connected to one RUT300 device.
Should I run load balancing on RUT300 and disable the LAN port on the LTE device when the connection with GSM is broken?
Will disabled port be removed from the load balancing list in this case?

Hi, video very interesting, but I’d like make a question; can I make load balancing with only two SIM cards connections? I do not speak to aggregate the connections, but I’d like take advantage of both, because the sims have not a unlimited connection.
