The random introduction of Suiciders in 4 was just so unexpected. I get that Super Mutants haven’t been built up as intelligent for a while, but I don’t think they were ever suicidally zealous.

Apparently floaters were going to be in New Vegas as the floaters mod you suggested uses a cut floater enemy that used the centaur model as a placeholder but due to time constraints they were not added as someone at obsidian said the animations would be too complex for the amount of time they had

What I like to think is the super mutant master is an enclave soldier who’s body was turned into that of a super mutant but his brain was kept preserved, a lot like everyone’s favorite monster of a man, Frank Horrigan

I think the suiciders don’t make sense in new Vegas because these mutants where originally part of the masters army and way smarter than the ones in fallout 4. so I don’t think that these mutants would just throw away soldiers. There is a finite amount of them in the Mojave and No new mutants where ever greatet in the Mojave. In fallout 4 there are mutant gangs but I think there is no real structure to these gangs just that the biggest and strongest mutant is boss (like orgs in warhammer) all they care about is death and meat. In new Vegas we got howl tribes and army’s of them well organized. So no suiziders in new Vegas

When I first heard about Super Mutant Commander mod on Nexus, I first thought of a mod where you can lead a squad of Super Mutant pretty much like with Enclave Commander NV but I am quite dissappointed now lol
