😢 Jason that was beautifully said being with them on their last day .. 1yr ago dec26 2022 I was at vet helping my 18 yr old Boston to his forever sleep .. it was horrifically painful time but at same time beautiful.. I was there from when I got him at 5 1/2 weeks(don’t judge me I didn’t know better ) till he was 18 years old. It really was like losing a child but I wanted to be there to hold him to let him know how much he was loved. Not very many people get to spend 18 years with a beautiful living being who loves unconditional.. so yes y’all count the cost because it is truly a lifelong commitment 💕

I wrote on this comment page before that I rescued a Cane Corso from a homeless woman... Who lived on the streets, and that's all this dog knew, she was infested with fleas and had lost a lot of hair, she looked terrible, I was upset because she just kind of dumped her on me but let me tell you it was the best experience of my life, I switched her to raw diet from her extremely cheap kibble, took her to the vet and dealt with the flea problem, next day took her to get a bath, followed by another one a week later, long story short here we are a month later and she is absolutely adorable her hair is growing back in she's turning into a stunning dog, shiny hair, tons of energy and absolutely the sweetest dog I've ever had, I'm 67 years old and I didn't think that I could deal with it, but that was proven wrong. I really wish people would stop thinking of dogs as toys, they're not toys and you can't just throw them away when you get tired of them. It is truly disgusting how people treat their animals and I wish that they would be more thought put into taking on a dog or any animal for that matter. I love seeing how you and Cara take care of your dogs, this is the way it should be. I wish the people would do their own research and stop listening to their vets, they don't understand that the vets make money off of your sick dogs, they get spayed and neutered too soon, they could vaccinated way too much, everything is stacked against them It is no wonder that half of the dogs die of cancer these days. People do your research and become responsible dog owners, it is definitely worth it

sadly people just buy dogs and feed them cheap store bought kibble. people don't realise the cost. A medium sized dog costs 200 euro of food for good diet and you always need to have surgery insurance and be ready to have a 5k bill of some surprise issue.

Jasen my daughter and her husband have a Corso .He is beautiful.When I go to visit them he gets his big rubber bone and wants me to play with him.He turned 3 in December❤❤

I had a Cana Corso, he was a rescue. I had never even heard of this Breed. His Name was Chopo, he was 2 and some nutered him at 8 months old and he didnt get to properly grow, but he was big, I did have to house train him and he did very well. He was my best friend. But my vet killed him!!! They made me give him the Rabies vaccine when he was sick. I begged him to allow me to wait until he was better, but they threatened to call anmial control on me, so I did it and withen 4 hours he bleed to death, it was horriable. I was going to get another CC but I had never had a puppy and I know how powerful of a breed they are, so we got A Siatn Bernewfie !!! Capone is a Saint Benard Newfoundland mix. Let me just say he is a handfull. I am having a hard time with his house manners, He loves his cage, I turned it into a safe place for him, and he steels food off the counter. I feel like the treat training makes him to beg? Can you give me some advise!!!

I have a two year old American Bully XL. It’s like having a third kid and I preferred to do the training myself. One giant breed dog is enough for me. The puppy phase was rough, very rough. They are A LOT of work. This was my first guardian breed. Mine still has impulsive tendencies with shoes and slippers which is annoying because as soon as he is caught, he drops it w/o being told. I still have to use sneaker lockers.
