During the feast of Pentecost we celebrate the Holy Spirit. When we celebrate we are filled and baptized with the Spirit of God and it's a time of repentance and empowerment for the people of God. The Holy Spirit is the visual representation of God on the earth. He is our comforter, counselor, and so much more. Every time we encounter the Holy Spirit, He fills us with a new fire! This is what we received this Pentecost Sunday. I pray this message blesses you and empowers you!

"Shavuah" means "week" in Hebrew. "Shavuot" is plural, it means "weeks." It is called the feast of weeks because the LORD commanded the Jewish people to count 7 weeks plus one day after the offering of the firstfruits of the harvest. See Leviticus 23:15-16.
