This method worked for me, but please exercise caution. I used 45% Calyptus vinegar, which was extremely strong and nearly overwhelming. I initially wore a mask while spraying but removed it because it was hard to breathe. I immediately experienced shortness of breath due to the intense vinegar smell, and it felt like my airway was constricted. While it didn't kill all the roots, it was effective in areas where mowing wasn't an option.

I used 30% vinegar from amazon for this method and just used 1 cup of snow rock salt. Started working within an hour. Wish I could post pics. So much better than other toxins. Has a pretty strong smell when spraying. 🤢Smells like Italian dressing afterwards. 😆

I'd imagine it'd b better to use the regular Dish soap rather than the EZ Squeeze or whatever they call that foaming soap. Just since its thicker. Correct me if I'm wrong, Isn't the whole point of the dish soap to make it less watery and help it actually stick onto the weeds so it can basically smother it?

When the weeds have been killed after spraying the solution, do I leave the dead weeds as they are or remove them by hand?

The most important detail that everyone leaves out whenever making this mixture is that this is only temporary. Yes on the surface it does kill the plant and turn it brown. Under the ground it really does nothing. Within a few weeks the plant or grass will return.

If I spray my walkway, spraying directly only on the weeds, will it kill flowers that line my walkway by going underground and getting into the soil?

As a Landscape Professional who absolutely hates chemicals, this is not as great as prompted. Deep rootes weeds simply grow through it. I dont have time to reapply 3-4 times. Also i have used up to 40% acidity vinegar with no noticeable difference from grocery store 5% acidity. Intense sunlight dose the heavy lifting. Because all the vinegar does is devolve the Cuticle ("sunscreen") from the leaf. Im not even convicted the salt makes a difference. I do however think the soap helps because it acts as a surfactant (wetting agent). If you think I am promoting Glyphosate (RoundUp) you are Absolutely incorrect, I just havent found the natural "magic bullet". But in early spring Flame Weeding is too much fun and effective in certain applications...
