Thank you for this video! I had a calcaneal osteotomy, tendon rwith econstruction and peroneal tendon transfer three days ago. I hope to be walking by August. I am 65. I expect my recovery will be slower than your has been. I hope you continued improvement. I am definitely anxious to lose the cast! Keep on keepin’ on! After hearing more of your journey, I realized my issue was completely the opposite of yours. I had cavis deformity ( high arch to the point of having a club foot). I tried physical therapy several times, not knowing there was a surgical option.

Going to have one and concerned about physical activity (running, grappling, swimming) going forward. You mentioned that you have pain in your space between heel and ankle (6month post op/cast removal) - did you do a lot physical therapy during this time? I want to do physical therapy before.
