Collapsible water bottles are great once you get past security. Liquid IV is great to add to water for extra hydration ✈️

Thanks Laurie....use these all...great tips and reminder. You always feel rushed when u get to your seat to settle in. Now i plan ahead with my pouch...pull it out put in a ziploc bag which protects the pouch and such from surprises in the seat pocket. I pull it out of my bag before we board...personal bag goes under the seat and this goes in the sest back.

Skip all the extra bags / pouches because they take up too much room. Use sandwich / zipper bags and stash them in your personal bag.

I generally pack a granola bar, just to make sure I don't get hungry. (prepackaged) I have wired earbuds, for the inflight entertainment. I got some sephia ones, and they survived 2 years of yanking them out of my ears 20-30 times a day.

I found these great toothbrush things that fit on your finger. Plus, chapstick is a must. I just survived a 17 1/2 hour flight from LAX to Singapore.

I love the zipper locks! My bag zipper zips from both sides and tends to work down making it easy for pickpockets if I'm paying close attention. So I use one every day!!! I also have a small chain attached so I can attach bag to a shopping cart so my bag isn't lifted while shopping.

I always bring several Mandarin oranges and cut up baby cucs. Best thing for the dry air to get some moisture in your mouth especially overnight flights. Wired earbuds, Sudoku book, I always remove the back pages so I can't cheat. I always have to pack mecanical pencils, erasers and white out on the roll. Anyone that does Sudoku KNOWS to start with ink then switch to lead.

Thanks for sharing 😊. My travel essentials for long overseas flight are my 800 thread cotton sheet from Macys 😂, thick cotton socks, chapstick, and 2 pairs of underwear because who likes to sit on the same pair of underwear for 13 hours 😆?

I got those locks for the cross body bags and straps that you recommended I loved them I got two bags a white on (to wear with my tenis shoes) a mustard color and I got another one from Christmas a burgundy . I bought the white and black strap they are so so cute, thanks!

Here’s a tip - you can take frozen water bottles through TSA 👍.
