I understand that at one (relative) level, we have karma that gets recorded and survives between lives.. but at a deeper (absolute) level, there is only consciousness behind it all.

But why are we having a unique experience and journey of spiritual growth at all? If are true-selves is also this same consciousness, why does it have this reincarnation requirement?

Regarding how comfortable you are with the different levels of energy/vibration in the afterlife.. I've read reincarnation is not always linear, that is, you can come back as a bacteria, plant or extra-terrestrial?!

BTW, what happens to your unique perspective once you stop reincarnating?

If you love Swedenborg, you should interview out of body explorer Jurgen Ziewe, who I regard as our modern day Swedenborg. His books Multidimensional Man and Vistas of Infinity are among my favourites. I've been following Jurgen for years and he is also a very likeable guy!
