I can very recommend this tutorial. Even as an absolute LINUX beginner I was manged installing a Windows program on my 10 years old Dell E4300.

Great tutorial. I am on Ubuntu 23.04. Wine is now at version 8. The repositories and keys have changed once again and sudo apt-key add - is deprecated. I have tried installation three times following the new commands on the site and each time wine --version results in an error message about being unable to open some library. Also the ~/.wine directory is not created. So it definitely does not work. I will now try on an earlier Ubuntu version and let you know. Is your video based on 20.04 or 22.04 like the title says ?
