What I love about your tutorial videos is that they are so honest. They are just the same as any of us trying to install anything beyond kwrite. Nothing works and we have no idea why. I'm surprised tech in the world ever got beyond basic on the zx81.

Nice to see a video of things NOT working like you expect. I would have tried a reboot after the wine install, it fixed my issue's when I installed it.

I tried installing wine myself in the terminal using sudo apt install wine and also wine64 and 32 but wine is very buggy, didnt i install it wrong? do i need to purge it and reinstall it your way?

i am so sorry but this didnt work... when i try to get it to open the /Desktop$ with the command cd' Desktop/ it instead does a little ">" carrot and leaves it at that... i tried to complete the code by just typing in /Desktop$ after the carrot but all that did was direct me to another carrot underneath it :/ also although my system runs debian 12 (bookworm) it runs "Penguin" through the terminal so could that possibly have something to do with all this going wrong too?? please help me and respond whenever you can, i just want to install winetricks so i can finally download vortex ALL so i can run the pokemod for TCG simulator...
