Type-5 question.Find all the value of k for which one root of the quadratic equation(k-5)x^2-2kx+k-4=0 is smaller than 1 and the other root exceed 2.
Solution
a.f(x)<0
(K-5).f(1)<0 after solve some step we get K<5.
Again. (k-5).f(2)<0.after solve some step we get (k-5)(k-24)<0 and k<5 or k<24
Hence we get answer.
Ans- K belong to (5, 24) aaya hai sir.
