Is there a way to add whole custom wads made of custom textures to Doom/Doom 2? Like if you merge them, of something like that.

This was very useful, thank you. Two things I found out while testing;
If a texture is over 64 kb, vanilla/choco doom will spit out an error, even if individual patches (not covered in this vid but covered in the sky texture vid) making up the texture are less than 64 kb
As you say, if the texture height is over 128 px the texture appears glitched, and having a texture width that isn't a power of 2 seems to have a similar effect. former seems to be fixed in prboom

Something to add: at the top left corner, make the slade detects that your map has a base resource (DOOM II.wad or DOOM.wad or any other Iwad). Otherwise it will greyscale the image

If I knew I would "Rush" in doom/midi , I'd love to find more tracks I know in doom/midi style, not especially metal though, It was nice listening to your tutorial, thank you a lot, and happy new year 2022

For people who are using a texture pack like OTEX; set OTEX (or whatever texture-including wad you have) as your base resource on SLADE, as it will have both its own and also Doom's textures indexed. This way your custom texture will be added to the end of the texture table.
If you don't do this, your texture will conflict with the textures included in OTEX/whatever, which will cause problems in some ports (but not on e.g. GZDoom)

Sometime in the future, could you make a tutorial on how to make custom player classes?
I personally think you have the best way of explaining all these complicated... words and code.
I've looked around the internet and still can't find a way that works. If you consider it, that'd be appreciated.
