Gonna guess this is my issue. I needed a new fuel pump anyways so I went with that first and it made the car run much better, but still getting random lurches/gasps of power on the highway with a P0193/P0190

Would disconnecting the fuel pressure sensor cause the EML to light up, but allow the engine to start and run seemingly unaffected?

My code is P0190. My mechanic is saying it’s the fuel tank pressure sensor. But wouldn’t that be a different code? The symptoms are the same for both when they fail.

Im not getting a fault code (ive been told..) but when a recovery came out to me yesterday he was confused how he got the car started since the diagnostics were saying there was an Open Loop on the fuel.
About 30-60 seconds later it closed, but the whole time the engine was on.

Would a fault on the rail line be the issue?

Im one below novice when it comes to cars, but ive spent a hell of a lot on this car and want to work out the issue. (Auto stop start sensor has just been replaced but clearly wasnt the issue as it turns out....)

Will gas smell coming inside the cabin be another issue with the fuel rail pressure sensor?

I'm trying to figure out a code on my mother's 2017 Kia soul 1.6 engine, it has the code p2191 fuel pump is about a year old, spark plugs as well and no wet spark plugs from fuel either, I was looking at LTFT trim and it's at 24or 25% at idle and the car has like a slight vibration, the injectors sound about the same with stethoscope and the fuel pressure at rail per Scan tool is over 500 - 580psi, no hard starting or stalling, not sure what to inspect next.
