I was having these problems with my 04 mustang GT so I went and got me some new spark plugs and new coil on plugs and new injectors and replace cam shaft sensor and the crank sensor and it made a night into day different. I got tired of replacing one or the other every few months back and forth to the mechanic so I did it myself using all these YouTube videos. I want to thank all of you guys for sharing your knowledge with us the world can be a lot better if we all share knowledge best wishes

All I can say guys is run THE BEST fuel you can get. Here in Australia, BP Ultimate 98 is pretty well "best" you can buy. I ran my V8 Fairlane (still have the car now) from year 2000 through to 2019 with a proud 743, 000km on the clock. The Windsor was pulled down for a freshen up @ 600, 000km. My engine builder was amazed at how clean my engine was on the inside. Yes, Oil & filter every 10, 000km but less dirty fuel deposits count.

I sent the injectors away for a test & clean just to be thorough. The report came back with a perfect spray pattern. The guy told me they didn't need cleaning. These were the original injectors @ 600, 000km. That Windsor always ran BP98 Fuel. Stay away from the cheaper stuff guys, it will cost you in the long run. Cheers Fletch. 👍

Thank you so much for this... I just got a 2003 XC70 Volvo and the other three owners before me to very good care of it but after driving it for a month and getting the oil changed it started misfiring. The sound of it and the description of what it was doing is this. I'll be driving and when I got to a stop hit the gas pedal to keep going with it would stall and then it will have a hard jerk... Creating the car too stop for a brief second and then accelerate. But that's dangerous especially if it was to happen like on the street going more than 40 mph and you're hitting a traffic light that's not good at all. So thank you so much for this information I'll be taking care of that Monday.
