GM invested heavily into a Lithium company that has the largest lithium deposit in north America. They know what they are doing. They are not going bankrupt any time soon.

EV adoption is not that high. At best it will hit near 50%, but EV's are not a one size fits all. The heavier the vehicle, the more mountainous the terrain, the more extreme temperatures, and the further from cities make EV's a horrible endeavor.

The Cybertruck and even the Ford F-150 Lightening are doomed. Electric tractor trailer trucks use more power than most suburbs combined. That's way too much draw on limited power grid.

And above all of that, the EV is too expensive. Your still coming out better with an ICE vehicle money wise.
