Bankruptcy protection from private assets is supposed to guard personal assets from lawsuits against a person's company. The important exception to this is if the owner is personally involved in the bad acts, that leads the company to lose the lawsuit. What I mean by bad acts is if they broke the law, which I think can be shown. I am not sure the lawsuit found that they broke the law, I am pretty sure it was a civil case, as opposed to a criminal case, what we need is a criminal case.
