Hey David, you may want to correct the title to say "Flashback" instead of "Update". I clicked on this thinking GM just went bankrupt today.

GM is not only doing well financially, they're doing well in terms of their offerings. My grandfather just got a 2015 Impala and one of our friends got into it and was blown away that it was a Chevy. He sincerely was in disbelief. The interior design/quality is on par with most $50, 000+ sedans and you can spec one out pretty well for under $40K

In addition to that, the Corvette is now one of the top performing sports cars in the world. The Z06 model is on par with many super cars worth 3 to 4 times its price and the Camaro is just a great reincarnation of an American classic.

And of course then you have Cadillac... FINALLY bringing back the sexy design traits that we miss from the 50s, 60s, 70s of Cadillac. Just check out the Cadillac Elmiraj concept. It's gorgeous and is close to production design. And then you have the CTS-V and the CTS-V wagon producing 580HP in a family wagon! I mean that's when you know a business is doing well. They know it wont sell well, but they know that the true fans will consider it a classic down the road.

Never should have been bailed out, there factories could have stayed open, the unions would've just had to have taken a hit, rather than the taxpayers losing $12 billion. Say no to corporatism

Please David, just upload 2 stories everyday and be done with it. Nobody wants to see "flashbacks" of stories that can be seing on old videos from even your own channel. Now you're gonna start re-branding them as "updates"??
Lazy and boring won't help in the long run.

A true supporter.

I only recently re-subscribed to this channel after unsubscribing from it years ago and outright forgetting it ever existed. When I stumbled over it again recently by chance, I couldn't remember why I had unsubscribed from it.
I think it is coming back to me.
Those "update" videos always annoyed me. If you don't have anything new to discuss, just sit one out instead of reheating news from 6 years ago.
I generally like Mr. Pakman and his take on things, but what is he ever going to say about a story like that that isn't obvious and has been thought by every subscriber themselves?
Hindsight is just boring without any context. This is something you can bring up next time you have a current story about subsidies and failing businesses and crony capitalism and so on, or about how government intervention can be good, but just bringing it up out of nowhere, so you can say: "Wasn't that something? And it still sucks half a decade later." or "We told you so." isn't really a good reason for making a video.
