I know this was back in 2015, but what is the outcome now? I ended up an unfortunate 3rd owner of a 08'Buick Enclave Cxl with many issues that I have written down. I began my search for answers back when my vehicle started occuring problem after problem. During my research I have found many forums with the same issues. My dream truck for my blended family of six got us from point a to b in the beginning around our city of Memphis. However, that didn't last long and now we are forced to walk everywhere we go or catch public transit if it runs to our desired destinations. My spouse and I are forced to walk to jobs and even interviews when we are between jobs. We do the same as going to grocery stores or just shopping in general. It feels like a smack in the face that we do all that with our truck parked in the driveway. A truck that we both go broke trying to pay the loan on and insurance, that we can't drive. My son even had to be uprooted last school term and even now to stay at his dad's house in order to get back/forth to school. I already have daily stressors with taking jobs that I can either walk to or that coincides with a bus route hours and the truck being down just takes precedence over it all. I don't know what to do because I can't afford to fix it, get it diagnosed only to be lied to, nor go in more debt trying to trade it in now since it is inoperable. I have tried researching for months answers and even perhaps solutions that other owners came up with for their vehicles, but the outcome has turned a blind eye. I think many owners have either traded in their vehicles or opted to upgrade. Then that cause for putting a bad vehicle back on the market and an unknowledgeable person like me getting stuck with it. I have written on other platforms and no one has commented so I don't know which way to turn. I understand that vehicles have wear and tear but every documented issue with my vehicle are the same ones that others have complained about.
