I really like how easy going you are a patient man like you can really teach because you’re not getting on to people asking them how much they’re worth your showing everybody how to do it right 😊

I wish I could spend a day with you
Its hard figuring things out on your own. The defects are always a symptom of something you’re doing.. answering that can be hard for a self taught guy.

How about the starts and stops on each stringer. Should be spaced at least a inch apart. I’ve been pipe welding for right at 41yrs. I think but I can’t remember that’s what they taught us in class. But for a safe practice I’ve always staggered my tie ends. Good YouTube channel also young fella.

Wish I hadn't just finished up my second rotator cuff surgery with a 10 screw plate in my left wrist installed in between. I'd go to work for this guy. Been around enough men to know.

As a on site welder, I have never ever in my life seen OEM welds that look how these yt dudes want welds to look, never have I ever seen them look even remotely this neat let alone how he expects them to be

Many of today's welding procedures are qualified with bead or weave width restrictions to better control heat input. That's one reason we see multi pass caps nowdays. Often it is around 6 to 7 times the filler diameter at most.

Wwa be like "one arc mark out of the bevel and one blip of undercut and youre fucking fired ole son" if youre a good worker theyll do a repair or cut out at worst.
