I did file my front cassette, it was biting on my chain, it's good as new now

Bent derailleur. My bike fell over and it never ran smooth again until i replaced it.

Yoooo what are you doing with that file? Does it improve performance to file off the overhanging edge that can develop on the chainring teeth?

I have to say something very generally.. In fact, I declare it whenever i can.. My SRAM RED has had so few issues vs Shimano. DA.

I must say that people put far too much emphasis on this kind of thing.
If it was installed correctly to begin with and frequently lubed and cleaned, just ride it until the chain slips, then either replace the entire transmission or get a new bike.
I’ve got a 1 X 10 commuter and easily get 12000km out of a chainring, chain and cassette.
And my mtb gets about half that.
