Wow, I've watched a bunch of videos on arpeggios and this is the only one I was able to follow easily and comprehend.
Really great Scott!

II have playing bass for about 3 years and have watched a lot of instructional videos on how to play the bass. I have to say your teaching methods are the best by far. I now really understand the importance of Arpeggios and how they related to the cords of a song. It makes learning them much more enjoyable. Thanks so much your a Great Teacher

The positioning and mobility of your left hand is impeccable. The ease of which your fingers move between notes, so dexterous. I've watched a ton of bass videos but that stood out to me from the intro

This lesson easily ranks amongst the 'BEST' free bass-lessons - IF not the best that I've come across online. I'm stultified how it got 11 negative thumbs-down; must be from tone-deaf who can't understand what clearly articulated English sounds like! Great presentation and very well done; very 'student-centred'. Clearly it took a lot of work in its making; AND DEFINITELY WORTH A DOLLAR!!

Just starting out playing bass again after a 30 year absence and finding your excellent teaching really helpful. I'm pretty woeful at the moment but it's guys like you posting videos like this that make YouTube such an unbelievable resource for help and information. Thank you for the video Scott.

One of the best bass lessons ever. Not only teaches arpeggios and building chords but also really helps you to understand the relationship of the major and minor scales AND movement from chord to chord in the harmony. Thanks Scott!

Even as an intermediate-level (theory-wise) player and semi-advanced technique-wise player, this is a very useful lesson. Thanks, Scott.

If I was picking up the bass for very first time and looking for a practical way to get started, this video would be all I'd need. Excellent! Thank you Scott!!

Really taught so well. Teaching by relating theory to actual music. Sadly, so rarely done. Fantastic! Thanks!
