Marvel Mystery oil got oil too thin! only drove 60 miles with it in the engine

You definitely either have water or gas in the oil. I’ve been using marvel mystery oil for years and my oil never looks like that after an oil change.

We put a total of 1mil miles on vehicles a year between our fleets. Use MMO in everything we own, fuel and oil both. Never once had this problem.

If you’re running a 0w, or a 5w, or that oil was super warm, then it’s going to be thinner acting. Something is up though. That or you’ve dumped way to damn much in your oil.

I used it in my Acura with 0w20 and it made it far too thin as well my first two start ups it made a pretty nasty grind and I’m like ight were draining this out, used just straight 0w20 afterwards and it didn’t grind

MMO is not an oil replacement. I used 1/5 of the large bottle in my crankcase and the rest I incrementally added to the gas tank. you probably used way too much.

be careful with what you replaced it with. its very think and can be very bad in cold weather conditions. especially on start up. It will be harder for the oil pickup to suck it up.

How did this happen? I’ve heard nothing but great things about the product. They also now have marvel mystery synthetic oil

only supposed to put in 2 OZ or so. Not the whole bottle. It's a cleaner / detergent. Lubricant. Use it in your fuel system instead. If you didn't put the whole bottle and you have other issues cuz your oils not supposed to be that thin obviously

Sounds like your using the 2 products wrong. Mystery oil is to get gunk and carbon build up out your engine.

Lucas is to coat cylinder walls making oil thicker.

One cleans and other protects engine.

Also you should only be running few miles thousand miles with mystery oil and not a entire cycle of oil change since it thins oil which could cause damage if used wrong.
