Why you don't need to always use row cover

Using row cover is CLUTCH, but you don't need to keep it on.

Row cover is best used when plants are young and susceptible to damage from the climate and pests. SluggoPlus is also your friend here!

When your plants have reached a good size like this cauliflower here, I'm not worried if there is a little bit of damage here or there. It's all about protecting the seedlings until the plant can handle some pests.
