I needed something to distract me today from having a high anxiety day. Thank you for giving me such a beautiful escape that I needed. It turned out lovely and I think that when I get back to my sewing room I might make myself an insertion lace summer skirt because it is really speaking to me.

Your skirt turned out beautifully. So fluffy and looks delightful for a summer’s day.

This was a very timely video for me as I’m about to embark on a lingerie dress. I’ve been gathering vintage lace for about a year now and think I finally have enough to be getting on. I’ve got to pull out a few of my extents to see how they treated the raw edges of the insertion as my 1905 treadle doesn’t do zigzag.
