I love your approach to your own skills and projects. I've seen too many costumers and sewists complain about their own creations a lot. Sometimes I do it too so I can understand them. I also think constructive self criticism is helpful to a degree but there's a healthier approach towards our own projects we give our hearts and souls into. So I love how you had fun creating and wearing this beautiful dress <3

Looove the way it turned out. For historical events you could make a floor length petticoat to wear under it, with a similar ruffle at the bottom. I have seen examples with multiple rows of ruffles at the bottom. This way you can “fake” it and wear it short for every day.😁😘🙋🏻‍♀️
