❤ I used to be in a LDR but It was just too emotional so I asked her to stop being my LDR & become my wife instead. It meant moving from my hometown to hers and I've never looked back since. That was 2008 and we're still married & still together. Hopefully forever & ever ❤

You missed one I think. Consistency is a big deal, especially in a LDR. Texting or calling when you say you will can make or break it.

4 Years, Me and my now wife were in a long distance relationship. It was definitely one of the hardest thing we both went through together. But it made us be more intentional with our conversation and made us cherish all the moments we got to be together.Occasionally we also played some lovify's couple games. To re discover each other & get to know each other better. Best time of our lives 💗💗

I am in a long distance relationship. Patience and Consistency is our secret. My girlfriend is in the US whilst I am in South Africa. It has been incredibly hard but yet at the same time incredibly rewarding. We have both used this time to grow individually so that we can be better for ourselves and ultimately better for each other. Remember that you can only give what you have. So if you grow stronger and wiser you can come back and give that other half an even better version of yourself. Love till it hurts but know that when you reach your end date of your LDR and you finally get to be together you will be able to love, give and care more than you ever have before and that will make your bond unbreakable.

LDR could be a great way to know that the other is just not into you just physically but more emotionally and spiritually ☺ so when you both finally meet, the physical attraction can merge in 👍

I'm in a long distance relationship at the moment and having a really weak week. I spend most of my time crying and feeling sorry for myself. He's the love of my life and we have both said that love doesn't describe us anymore, we have a connection that surpasses words and space and in our minds we're already all we want... I just hope we can be together soon.

I’ve been in a long distance for almost 7 years, shocking I know.

Well we’ve been through literally A LOT to get to this point. After all the hard work, we will finally marry next year.
In my opinion, the most important way to stay together are :
1. you need to have a PLAN, like a solid plan to be together. Then you just gotta follow it, have FAITH and PATIENCE. Trust the process! Enjoy the moment. The thing is, you need to have a dream together, about when is it gonna happen and who’s gonna move to where?.
2. be there for each other and communicate your problems, communication is the key! LDR is very fragile to misunderstanding, so talk!
3. Compromise 😊

Good luck ☺️

I am professional bicycle rider from America and while at a contest in France I met a girl who lives in Lyon, we had this instant connection even without speaking each others language. We used a translator app on my phone to communicate and we have talked every day since, she's taught me how to speak French and I'm teaching her English. I never saw myself in a long distance relationship but in life some times you get lucky and find that one person whom no matter how your day is going, that one glance at a message from them makes it 100 times better. I've learned so much about myself and love and relationships that I never could have learned with dating someone in my country. I miss her touch and smell every day but when I finally get to hold her all the months of missing her and sadness and every emotion goes out the window for this indescribable emotion you get when you finally run to each others arms. Love truly knows no bounds

I've been a long distance relationship for two years now. I'm not going to lie it's hard but at the end of the day it's worth it and I love my girlfriend so much. She the one for me.

I'm in a ldr for two years now and it realy sucks. I miss my bf so bad, I just can't stand it any longer. We don't have any trust issues but I just always feel like the weak part. He has lots of work to do and many good friends. All I have is missing him.

Everything you said in this video is SO true. I've been in a transatlantic ldr for a year now and will be for at least another one. People always give me looks of pity "that must be so hard". Yes it is, but if someone can make you feel happy even when they're not around, that truly is a keeper in my book. And I've never been happier.

Been long distance for 5 years and counting... you missed that things wont always be great and you wont always be in sync, that does not mean the relationship is over or done for. It means there's work to be done.

I'm in an LDR and so far so good. We only live just a little over 2 hrs away. We spent the first 3 weeks talking on the phone 2-3 hrs a night every night. We learned a lot about each other and felt a real connection. He came to see me yesterday and it was such a comfortable, fun time. The only stress was the anticipation of actually meeting face to face and that went away after we saw each other. I hope the relationship continues for a long time, but I am taking the time to learn about the difficulties that can happen and how to best handle them. I wish everyone in an LDR the best of luck for happy outcomes.

Long distance is very hard! I'll see my boyfriend again in 3 weeks now. I can't wait to see him, hug him, cuddle and everything. We've been long distance since May, saw each other a bit on August and I'm planning on moving to his city on January so, I hope everything will be ok. I love him so much.

Me I am in a ldr but to be honest the first months I gave myself a break.Went and thought if am in it for the long run.It took 2 months to decide and now we are 2 years in ldr and I can say it's worth it.It never gets easy but we are better.I've grown and am happy as a person and with him.I choose never to listen to people and follow my heart so far it's the best decision I ever made above all thankful to God we came thus far😊

My boyfriend is in Marine boot camp. He's 2, 000 miles away. We only get to send letters, so I haven't seen his face in 10 weeks, and I've only gotten one phone call, which I missed! But this was great encouragement! Thanks! :)
