I did exactly as you said in the video, but on my Mac, it won't connect, it see's the server, but when I click "connect as" nothing happens. On my PC, when I connect, I don't see any files.

I did everything here except for 0:33 and wondered why I couldn't connect to any shared folders. Thanks so much.

Wow, that is so much easier than TrueNAS that I might just switch.

Thanks for the video, very handy. I found I also had to set Others to Read/Write/Execute in the shared folder ACL, Extra Options section to allow anonymous guest users to create files on the share.

using a rock pi quad sata hat on my raspberry pi 4 and got it all working now and just copied a 1/2 gig folder to the share and was surprised how quick it is! thanks for the nice video.
