Whenever I even enter the clay workspace, I take off the rings and literally all jewelry. I have a really cute rose shaped ring that I never took off because it was the first little gift my gf ever gave me, but then one day she saw it closer and was kinda shocked, asking how the band had slimmed down so much. Turns out the friction from the clay LITERALLY WORE DOWN THE SILVER. I was in tears.

If rings fall off easily then that may not be your size. My tip to know if the size is right is to give it a shake test. When u have a ring on, shake your hang fast it should feel loose but should not go off flying after shaking your hand

Even if it was forgotten and got buried in the dried clay, you can get it back by breaking the pot right? I mean ring is more important than the pot. Also, we can reuse the broken pot by putting it in water and making it back to clay right? Coz i saw someone doing it. Its a doubt, so hope someone will answer it.
