I ran into the Right half by, mistake. I was just exploring and avoided the Dragons and what not. It is a pretty good farm for Runes too. Those bats and Hagravens give a lot of runes to you, but the Hagravens have serious poison damage. Pretty cool little farm if you need to level up. Also, I stumbled across the guy with the long katana after killing the one red boss in the river. I killed him. Super worth it though.

I actually ended up using the alternative path.
Because I didn’t even know about the lift,
Word of advice for anybody else planning on using that path:
It is full of bats both standard and siren.
Bright side I did take out the dragon boss and got a jawbone sword.
