Which Silky Saws can be sharpened?

Показать описание
Nita and Shenae answer the big question. Can you sharpen Silky Saws?
Phone: (07) 3823 1599
TWO reasons why you CANNOT sharpen all Silky Saws
1) The teeth on most saws are too small to sharpen
2) Non-Sharpenable Silky's have impulsed hardened tips on their teeth so they are harder than a file. (Diamond file the exception)
When sharpening a blade you will require a lot of patience, but it is worth the effort!
Silky Japan recommends that you only file the top edge the first 2 times that you sharpen a blade. Do not attempt the side angles as this will dramatically alter the way it cuts. Only do that on the 3rd or 4th sharpen.
Saws you can sharpen because they don't have hardened teeth are:
Silky Yamabico Saw
Silky Masaru Saw
Silky Zorin Saw
Silky Kamisorime Saw
Silky Sugoi Saw
Silky Old version of the Ibuki Saw
Silky Katanaboy Saw
Silky Genki 500 Saw
Silky Hayauchi Pole Saws
Silky Hayate Pole Saws
Silky Natanoko original Saws
