I love my Silky Saws. I got one for my dad and he was blown away, it's his go-to yard work tool now. Fun Fact: they're great at ripping out vines.

You can use the sharp 90° spine of any silky to strike a ferocerium rod, process kindling, shave wood for wood crafts, you can even use the top of the spine in the closed position to carve spoons and other concavities. The high carbon steel can even be used as a fire striker for flint and steel. Plus, the ease of use for changing out blades makes it the most versatile woodcraft and bushcraft saw on the market today, in my experience.

You're gonna love that Big Boy. I've had one for about 6 months. Be it hunting... fishing or hiking....it goes everytime I go in the field.

Blade shape helps prevent binding. Some people have issues accepting silky is a pull saw, trying to cut on the push.

I've had this Silky - and 2 other models - for a while. I like it a lot.

I have One of these, and is indispensable. It goes from Garden to Woods, camping, whatever.

Everyone should have one.

After a day or two backpacking, the saved effort from the silky saw is huge.

I have a folder Corona and a couple folding Silkies, and the Coronas are great, but there is no comparison with the Silkies! You def get what you pay for with these.

You cannot believe how great Silkys cut when you use them for the first time. There is no better hand saw than a Silky. I have about 5, with various tooth sizes, lengths and for different uses. Can highly recommend them.

Silkys are absolutely amazing, got one because i’m very big into bushcraft and when you put a silky with a saw horse, is cuts like butter through bigger logs

Silky brand makes the best saws hands down. They cut so fast and straight that I've even used them for making square edges in actual joinery. Absolutely the best hand saws you can get and they're not even expensive

I've only ever heard good things about silky. I will say, my cheap Walmart pruning saw has very well for me too (I did sharpen it when I got it, but it's held well over 5 years of weekend camping)

Silky saws are designed to cut on the rip back not the push forward. Prevents possible damage bending blade if you fetch up. Put your energy in the pull back when cutting something. Love my Silky Gomboy!

Lonnie from Far North Bushcraft and Survival introduced me to Silky saws. I've never found a better, more versatile saw. It's all I use for camping, hiking, hunting and yard work
