Two extras that are worth knowing:
1: @Fearless Daber asked this question below. I had the same question. so i researched. "how do you go back to the options to edit your video without discarding your changes?" This is what i found - It looks like you have to save any edits before you can go back to the "Video Editor" menu to do other things. I hope i am wrong about this, because every time you click save, you have to wait for it to "process" or render and that can take a couple hours.
2: I just learned (the hard way) that if you have to choose between blur or trim. You cannot apply both to the same video. I tried multiple ways - no luck. After doing some research, i see i am not the only one that has discovered this delightful "update" to the YouTube editor. So, now i will try my hand at editing with a different program, as YouTube editor is now useless to me.

Is there a way to edit a video, and save it as a new video while keeping the original as a separate video? Like pull out a 10 minute clip out of an hour-long livestream and have both videos available to view? It looks like "save as new" wasn't a thing, then it was, and now it's not? Is there a hack to make this happen or do I have to download/reupload to make a copy?

Please please please help me !!! I have a couple of videos I worked very hard on uploaded to my channel and they both have volume issues. How can I increase the existing volume in the parts in the video that are not loud enough with the YouTube video editor ???? I don't want to lose the views I have already by taking it down to fix it !!!! Thanks Dan.

Did they change this? now when clicking on "details", it just brings up a pop-up sort of thing, and I can't find the editor tab (because there aren't any separate tabs anymore it seems like)
