The shingles look nice. I hope that sliver isn't too bad. Too bad it turned out to be steeper than you were thinking but it sure looks cute with that slope. Cedar roof looks great Ken. It gave me an idea for the roof of a propane tank shelter that I built. Finally found a use for those shakes I’ve had laying around since the 70s when I built dad’s garage. Love these small jobs, thanks!

Great project Ken. My neighbor was a Contractor and when I was 15 years old ( 1979) he taught me how to wood shingle his roof. This brings back great memories.

I LOVE the cedar shingles ! It reminds me of the beach cottages growing up that were covered in cedar. So pretty. Great job. Can wait til the sidings on.

I'm a retired carpenter and I came across this video and it reminded me of a house we did back in the early 1980's. Did skip sheeting and wood shingles, the old carpenter I worked for had us soak the shingles in a cattle tank. They would swell up and then we would lay them tight. They would dry out with a small gap, but when it would rain they would swell up and be water tight again. Never went back to fix any leaks. I like your work Ken.

Ken good job. This could become every thing from a playhouse to a bus stop 🚏 for the children in the morning. And as a bus stop it’s still a playhouse multi purpose use. The pitch on the roof is good for snow ❄️ as it should let it slide off even with Cedar. I like it😊

Honestly been watching this builld and I feel as if you should make the following changes. Cut and install 2 14"x14" holes in the floor drag the ice fishing hut onto a lake and take your boys and Lauren out for a day of ice fishing. I am sure we would hear some good stories with you all huddled around the holes waiting for a trap to trip.

oh me almost through;;;what next;;;;I knowyou measured it but I remember a feller that built a boat in his basement and couldn't get it out;;;had to cut it in half to get out and created a foldiboat that would fit in the badk of his pickup and worked great for up and keep em comin
