November 2018, Works like a charm! My PC was restarting when entering Safe mode. YOU can choose option:
"Safe mode with command prompt" then ctrl+alt+delete to restart. Cheers

Thank you very much for this video. You saved my time and money. I made a mistake when changed some parameters in the System configuration: Boot - Advanced options - Number of processors and Maximum Memory. Never change these values! After a restart my laptop was dead. Thanks God you helped me to rectify my own mistake.

worked like a charm in 2020 in win7 pro x64...
i couldn't enter safe mode or command prompt so i've used windows 10 installation usb to access repair options and command prompt...
the rest was just retyping your 2nd solution...
