Make sure the wifi option is turned off because this will not work with it on.

On Canon cameras similar to the one in this video we find this option by pressing the MENU button to display the menu. Then use the keys of the Multi-controller and select Wireless communication settings under the tab.

Attention all new Canon/Mac users!! This video is 3 years old but this method STILL WORKS. I just had to look on the menu bar in my photos app on the left and click "Canon EOS" under the "devices" subheading and everything popped up.
