If you keep the water called aquafab and blend it you get vegan substitute for egg/egg whites in recipes.

1. dont wash the chickpeas
2. heat the hummus prior to blending
3. add a bit of the hummus water in the blender
4. dont over crowd your blender

I think this is my sign to make homemade hummus! I find the store bought ones have a bunch of sodium and I’m trying to cut down

Here where I shop hummus is almost $6 for what...a cup and a half maybe? I make it for less than $2 and I can add whatever flavors I want. No brainer!
