If you want to get the most creamy hummus, add a tablespoon of baking soda a few minutes before you're done cooking the chickpeas. This helps remove the skin of the chickpeas which i recommend scooping out with a sieve since they float to the top

If you peel off each husk(yes it takes a bit) and then you blend them, it’s like eating hummus flavored clouds. Try it. After boiling the chick peas, let them cool, put them in a bowl full of water then rub them all gently between your hands, the husks will peel off and float to the top. It’s worth it. Remove the peas Add the tahini and the spices and blend. You’re welcome.

Hummus is the only thing I actually prefer making at home, it's cheap, easy, fast and you can adjust the ingredients to your liking, it always tastes 100x better than store bought
