This video is saying you need almost 4 inches above, which for most frig openning areas is not feasible given many refrigerators, yet what if you have space between the counter top and the top that flow into the back of the frig area, which can be, say a good 6 inches (which is more than 10 cm) from the back so you have plenty of room and the air flows from that back area near the countertop and to the sides rather than from the top.
