Lufthansa Economy Review

In this video, I'll be hopping onboard a Lufthansa Airbus A321 NEO on a flight from Frankfurt, Germany through to London's Heathrow.

It's been some time since I've flown a European carrier in the economy class other than British Airways and was excited to see where the major differences would lie vs Europe's largest carrier in Lufthansa.

Overall, it was a descent experience and one which would lead me back to Lufthansa in time. That said, they weren't fantastic. Whilst the cabins were well maintained and service prompt, the total lack of in seat charging and onboard WiFi was pretty poor in 2024. Like so many other European carriers, anything much beyond a bottle of water was chargeable on the catering front - it really would be great to see them going back to more complimentary offerings and if you were keen to go for the basics and have to buy all the extras, there's plenty of carriers which offer that already...
