Flying Economy between US and Europe….Lufthansa is in my top 3 picks. They’re a bit more expensive, but their planes were always new, immaculate and the food was better than most (quality was better, even if the fare was more uninspiring)

For anyone wanting an actual review I flew one of their 747-8s 2 weeks ago in economy premium (economy with a bit more space, worth it tho.) and it was pretty good, I’m so glad that they still fly the queen of the skies and that I was able to be one of the last 747s ever made, that thing really gave no crap about turbulence, buttery smooth. Unlike the A330 which wasn’t nearly as good on the trip to.

I flew on a Lufthansa 747 last year in economy and i have to say even the old configuration was so comfortable. If it got even better i might just have to fly with them again lol (please god let me fly again)

I flew them m 2016 LAX to Frankfurt on a 380 in Coach and it was the Best ! It was 300.00 round trip going standby the service in row 90 was AWESOME!

They should spend 1/4 of that on customer service and I would maybe consider flying with them again :)
My experience in FIRST CLASS last year was nothing short of HORRIFIC.

The 747 from O.R. Tambo in Johannesburg to Frankfurt in Germany is old as Fack. The infotainment system is so slow and laggy you’d almost give up. It’s the reason I stopped flying Lufthansa and changed to Air France.

Lufthansa is the best airline. I love them, that's why I stay with United/Continental (both great brands)—every time I go to Europe or the Middle East I fly Lufthansa.

Excellent. However, I have heard that LH are retrofitting all their B747-800s in all classes. The economy class looks brighter with the blue, and not so dull anymore. It’s still not EK😅, but the changes are good. Well done LH👍🏾.

Two recent flights in their business class were really really poor
Dreadful seat/beds and food for a dog

my mom HATES flying Lufthansa business to Germany. She takes American now, and has racked up about a million miles flying to and from Hamburg each month.
