I was going through a crate of records once, and a guy reached in front of me and picked up the whole crate I had my face leaning over and walked off with it! Didn't say a word! Another time I was waiting for someone to finish going through a box so I could check it, and just as she finished, someone else pushed in and started going through it! I had to tell them I had been waiting there for 5-10 minutes, and I was next. You are so right to point out that there is plenty to go around and no reason to be greedy and rude! I enjoy your videos. I can't go to sales like I used to, and this is the next best thing!

She probably took it out is spite since she wanted the entire nativity set. Look at how she started going through the tote as you were going through it like you weren’t even there. She took the box for the set too since it was in that tote. Crazy! I’m glad you got Joseph back!

Haha, my Dad lives in that area (Pottstown) and that lady is notorious for her rudeness/ aggressiveness at yardsales. Glad you got her on video. Also, my Dad was at that same yardsale but did not get there to almost 2pm. The husband let him look through some totes in the back and he was able to get a whole bunch of NOS nascar hats, vintage Eagles hats and single stitch muscle car shirts for about a $1 a piece. He said the couple was super sweet and had amazing prices.

Wow, that woman reminds me of someone I had come to one of my sales. Same age range, attitude, ect. She made a huge pile and tried to give me $10 and walk away. I had to keep saying NO. She was aggressive and confrontational. I finally told her I wasn’t going to sell her anything and she needed to leave my property. She tried to play it off as a language barrier thing but I had seen her n the past at other sales and knew her game.

A new-ish friend and I went shopping together at an antique mall. It was her idea to go there, so I let her lead everywhere, until we were more than halfway through. I saw a clothing rack, start looking, and she walked up, reached across in front of me to pull out an item. I said, "EXCUSE me?!" (Plus a look 🤨) And she said, "oh, I just thought it looked like something my daughter would wear." (So?😂) and she backed off. We laughed about it, but I'd bet she won't pull that again. I really believe we train people how to treat us. The 2 shystery people you dealt with were strangers, so I get why you let it slide....but my inner sheriff was wishing you'd said something to each of them. Also, I love that you handle the items you're looking through in a respectful manner. ❤

The good, the bad and the ugly from yard sales! I used to go to sales and one gal was very aggressive at sales. There was a time when someone had a sale in the garage with a bunch of people waiting outside. When the door opened, she got into a pushing match with someone, they argued, then the cops were called. It happens!
She used to go to people's doors the night before their sales and ask for stuff they were selling.
Those are crewel embroidery on plastic.

Mom and I spent so much time making things with plastic canvas when I was a child.

At one point, I had a profitable plastic canvas Christmas ornament business when I was a preteen. The most popular items used to be tissue box covers.
