TV I use for testing video games is a Haier 7" HLT71. It has coax and RCA inputs only - does not have HDMI. I bought mine used on eBay for $50 shipped, although you may get it even cheaper if you are patient.

this is pretty embarrassing. Instead of allowing people to peruse a garage sale, buy the occasional item they like, we have guys like this coming through with IKEA bags and snagging anything he thinks he can resell for more. It's against the spirit of garage sales, and it's pathetic as a source of income.

No one is mentioning the seller. Those were her customers that she sold out in a heartbeat when she saw she had a serious buyer for everything. She didn’t want to wait around all day for them to maybe buy $10 worth of stuff when she could sell it all at once.

As someone who has had many yard sales I love when someone walks up and wants to make a deal on all of it. The whole point is to get rid of it and make some money. The sooner it’s gone the sooner you can go inside and enjoy the rest of your day! Good job and nice haul!!

As a person who does garage sales regularly Im always put off by the resellers who butt in when everyone is digging through boxes screaming I WANT IT ALL HOW MUCH??!! I sell comics cards and collectible's 2 times a year and like clockwork its always a big turnout. Every time we open we get resellers who jump in screaming how much for all of it then want to lowball the shit out of everything. I always politely say let the rest of the people finish shopping then whatever they haven't picked out you can buy. This usually pisses off the reseller because they want it all now and cheap! I get it I do but it is really a tacky move to butt in like that and clear it all out without letting the others finish. I would rather have 10 happy buyers than 1 happy jerk reseller.

This is the reason why resellers get a bad rap. No need to be this petty and greedy. If you are good at what you do, those few items she had shouldn’t be an issue. Bragging about it and laughing just makes you look worse.

I don’t respect this kind of “deal” That was a shady move IMO. The woman was still looking at the things you bought all of… she had stuff in her hand that she was going to pay for, but she was still looking and you knew it…. otherwise you’d have had no reason to rush to pay the seller. Would it have really hurt you to consider that woman?

It is what it is. The lady was lolligagging and only got lively when she found out you bought out the rest of the stuff. She was there before y'all so she had plenty of time. If she really wanted the stuff, she should've made a pile in a corner and claimed those. You win some, you lose some.

Remember once doing a car boot sale (it's what we call them in England) when a man kept coming back to look at some 5 lever mortice locks (I had about 20) that I was selling for £3 each (About £15-£20 in shops). He kept picking one up, looking at it, putting it down, going away, coming back, picking it up, looking at it, putting it down, going away. This went on for about 30 mins, he must have come back 10 times, still looking. Another men walked up, picked one up, said I'll give you £50 for all of them, I said deal. I was so pleased when the original man came back and asked where the locks were and I told him they were all sold. He was livid, said he wanted one, and just hadn't make his mind up yet!
