When someone does something like this at my garage sales, I up the price. I’m always willing to negotiate but if you rudely present issues and just want a quick cash grab you’re not getting it. I’d rather sell my sets for $5 to a child of low income, than for $40 to an adult that’s a prick.

I have learned for stumbling across a few of these that if I ever have a yard sell and see someone with a camera not to sell them anything to look further into what they were looking at and makes that money instead especially when you ask if I can do better on the price when you're just going to flip it for more anyway.

I keep seeing people nix things because of battery corrosion, but it’s really very easy to repair. Use it as a bargaining point, then go home and hit it with some white vinegar and a nail file.
