This is actually legit advice. I believe kids who see their parents be affectionate and devoted to each other, they joke like "EWWW!", but on a subconscious level it add security and stability to their lives.

The fact our culture got to a point this has to be taught in a YouTube Reel is unbelievable

This also has another benefit that the kids will in the future respect their spouse just because they saw their parents do the same thing!

This works my dad always treated my mom like this we thought it was weird as kids but now I build my relationship of the love I saw ❤

This is real advice, my parents rasied us that way but it was my mom who taught us to love and respect our dad, my dad is a extreme workaholic, he forgets everything as soon as he starts working.
Since young, my dad used to work late night, and as kids we were slight unfamiliar with him. Our mom used to always say how much our dad loved us, everything he does is for our future and helped express our love to dad and vice versa. She bridged our family.
My dad left his workaholic life when i was in grade 6-7. He had a UN miss in south sudan where he saw too many deaths making him realise how precious his time was. Now he tries his best to spend time with us, and mom. Take her out on and see life above work.

My husband did this for a week. It was the best week of our marriage. I felt like a rockstar and could take on the world! It made me want to give him the best life. And when he stopped I wanted to give up on everything.
This really is the best advice!!

This is 100% truth, the part about the kids witnessing that and having to wait is such an invaluable lesson, it combines many positive behaviours. All spouses should be like that!

Thats what my Dad did and i distinctly remember that. He'd acknowledge me but be like "hey be patient, I will get to you."

Also, acknowledge that raising kids and being a good wife and mother is hard work and valuable. Tell her she is doing a good job and thank her for the work she does. She will be happier and more thankful if you show her some support.

This is why after work everyday and even on days off...I turn my phone off. And spend time with the family without any disturbance. It helps so much and makes family life awesome.

I love how he set does the boundary setting ✅, positive encouragement 🌟, and physical attention 💕 to her.

Also, I appreciate how in the beginning he referenced and said:

" _If_ your wife is a Mom" instead of assuming the wife is _also_ a mom, just _because_ she's a wife 💒💍✒️💯. 👏🏾

My parents got divorced when I was young 12-13. I don’t remember any time they were affectionate towards each other. During their divorce I said something remotely disrespectful about my mother trying to cheer my father up. He smacked the shit out of me and told me never to disrespect my mother. I may not have ever seen love but I was taught respect and it has taken me a few relationships but I am truly happy now and I am so thankful for how I was raised. Some people hate their parents and it makes me so sad.
