Microsoft dropped the OFFICIAL Windows 'lite'

Let's install the official IoT version of Windows in Proxmox! I wish this is how the regular windows 11 was by default.

Yes! Add the things you need rather than removing the things you don't. That is the key! The Enterprise LTSC version of Windows 11 also comes with the original Notepad (not the new one), original Calculator, and the original Snipping Tool. No recommendations to create movies in the Photos app because it's the original one as well, and not the versions that come with Windows 11 Pro or Home edition.

The non-IOT version of W11 LTSC has some slight advantages. You can fully remove Edge and disable the "recommended" section in the Start menu.

I swear if LTSC was base Windows Home or at least Pro, people would pay 300 bucks freely and go all in for the upgrade.

Moreover, the W11 Iot LTSC version does not require TPM 2.0, but for just LTSC it does.

You talk about how you shouldnt violate windows TOS at around 4:00 Which is understandable, but in my opinion, they should have considered their consumer when they started pushing a lot of the stuff they are currently pushing. If they are gonna violate my rights to use my computer how I want, then I do not care about their terms of service anymore. I do not use Microsoft Edge for example. But im forced to have a copy installed on every windows install and I can not remove it. No Thank You.

3:48 in case you are wondering why he says that, it's because MAS stands for "Microsoft Activation Scripts"
so yeah, the main thing these scripts are used for is piracy, which is definitely against the TOS
