I've owned an E for the best part of a year, and I love it for all the reasons mentioned, apart from the camera mirrors!

I think it's less a case of definition, and more a case of depth perception. It's viewing the world from a single view point, as if you're using the mirrors with 1 eye closed - this makes it really tricky to quickly decipher how far something is from the back of the car. Annoying when parking, and extremely frustrating on busy motorways. Also glare + rain droplets and even spiders can be an issue that wipe out an entire mirror!

Range is frustrating, but we are averaging 4 miles per KW in the summer, dropping to around 2.8 in the winter. It's at 3.3 after 9, 000 miles.
Definitely couldn't be my only car, but as a run around for 99% of our journeys in a fairly metropolitan area, I couldn't be happier.

Great video as always!

Lovely car brings back memories.
The car is heavy because of the massive aquarium. Must hold about 70 gallons of water or thereabouts.

I saw one driving through Dublin last week. Just put the biggest smile on my face. You can see the original Civic roots. Nice work Honda 😁

Even in Norway there are very few of these, and we buy pretty much anything with a battery in it nowadays. My view is that it is an awesome idea that is let down by two things - the range and the price. It really needs to be a lot cheaper, and to offer about 20% more range in order to compete in the city car segment.

I’ve had one for a year, standard edition in platinum white with 16” wheels. Love it. It’s a perfect city car.

Driving one since over two years. So much fun.

The concept version of this vehicle was hands down the coolest EV I’d ever seen! Looked like an old Civic and an old Golf all at once. Hope they come back around to that design.

Had one of these for 17 months and loved it.

wish they were a bit cheaper, 40k for a little hatchback is a bit much

Had mine since the summer of 2020, first batch to arrive. Still makes me smile to drive it and still turns heads. Only seen another couple around here in all that time.

Harry, I was so worried when I saw you had reviewed the E. I have an M4 and my wife has the E. I drive the E whenever I can. I just love it. If you go into settings you turn off the “Nanny state” and have a spirted drive. Thanks for all the reviews 👍🏻

My thoughts about this car now are the same as they were when it came out; I love everything about it apart from the range and the price

I’ve had one for 2.5 years and love it to bits! I use it every day, but for longer trips I also own an ice car. As a city car with a home charger it’s just about perfect !

Harry won't be left behind, his enthusiasm for new tech and change is contagious. We're lucky to have him.

I’d be intrigued to see what they could do in terms of price and range if they were to take out all the extra tech and just put in the basics. Could they have a cute simple affordable commuter? I’d be interested.

Never noticed any problems with camera mirrors. IMO they are far better in wet weather. I always use all round cameras for parking, which are excellent. And of course the car can easily squeese into any tight space. Not having “wing mirrors” protruding is also a bonus on narrow lanes etc. Range rarely an issue, but I can charge at home, and most destinations like Tesco PodPoints. Used prices @ £19-20k are a steal, so buy one while they still exist. And smile

This car is so clean, I love it! Unfortunately it's a bit pricey and the range is too short compared to contemporary EV's. I really hope they stick with this model and that the next version improves on those shortcomings.

Also, just wanted to add that I really enjoy your style of reviewing cars. No fancy editing or music, just your calm clear voice and lots of info :)
