The hatchback segment of the EV market has always been a bit of an aesthetic wasteland, until the Honda e came along. The Japanese carmaker's first full electric vehicle, goes back to its roots to take inspiration from the very first Honda Civic, and blast it into the future.

Thanks to Cars and Coffee Singapore for loaning us the Honda e.

200k for this tiny little hatchback? Madness. I’ll buy myself a used Golf GTI and have some change to spare for mods

Would you pick this Honda E or the Mini Electric for a supermini city hatchback?

It is eye of the beholder for each individual.

Some prefer a Civic Hatchback, some prefer a Type R. Some will even go for Honda Odyssey.

Those who bought this car should really love gadgets and

I have check the spec EV is always more heavier than ICE cars so this tiny Honda E advance unladen weight (EU) is 1595kg. So can this EV park in some of the old carparks which the weight limit is only 1500Kg? I always have a concern over those bigger EV exceeded the MSCP weight limit of 2000Kg. The government website has also stated the MSCPs are not designed withstand vehicular weights beyond a certain limit but it nvr states how much so I'm not sure if there is any safety concern for those EV especially those bigger one to park at those car parks with 1500kg limits. But this tiny little cute EV should not have any concerns as it should be still within the safety allowable limits I guess.

200ksgd 152bhp really compact car as a will buy.. for which audience i wonder? How can it even compare to a base model 3 which is arguably cheaper and definitely better

Too cute. It used to be priced around SGD150K on sgcarmart if Im not mistaken. The odd looks and form is what makes the car stand out from its peers but sadly the range is not looking good...

A shame that this homage of a car which was once an entry point for any young adult into motoring is now beyond the economic reach of 85% of the population.

Does it run on AA batteries? 200 grand for 200km range with the size of an rc toy car?
May God help us.

S$200k+ for an EV with range for 220km; mostly for neighbourhood runs. If for daily driving ~ u b charging everyday or every other day for min 30-35 mins on a 50 kw station.
Definitely, the lesser of the available EVs.
