Even though he was found not guilty, you didn’t see him jump for joy and acting all ecstatic . This let me know he did what he felt he had to do and this weighed heavy on his heart ❤️. 😢

To hear his mom say "He made a choice to take my son away" Your son made a choice to confront someone who was avoiding conflict. You walked over there trying to prey on the weak, and the same homies he brought, watched and didn't do a thing when he pulled a equalizer out and defended himself. That man left that establishment looking for trouble. That's what happens when you test the streets.

Dolla was one my favorite rappers for the short time he was around. Alot of people have seem to forgotten about him. Appricate you doing a video on him. You never disappoint with these videos. By far one the best on YouTube

You can’t overlook the fact that “Dolla” was pressed to go to P.F. Chang that day even tho everybody else didn’t want to… what was the odds of him even running into dude? Somethings just happens for a reason good or bad and only GOD knows why. 🤦‍♀️ 😢

Dolla was one of my favorite rappers and I was fortunate enough to see him live at club vortex in Salt Lake City, UT in 2008. I still have his wife beater from the show he took off and threw it and I caught it. I also knew all the words to his songs and he held my hand while rapping who the f is that. That was one of the best days of my life. Though its been almost 14 years since his passing my heart still aches knowing he’s gone. I legit cried for months after his passing like I knew him. He had a huge impact on my life and He will never be forgotten ❤

When I first learned of this situation back in 09, I thought Berry was guilty of murder. Over time after learning more about what happened, I believe mans was acting in self defense and the court made the right decision. I just hate how too many young brothas throw there lives away over pride and tryna prove something.

And I can't imagine the pain and grief of Dolla's mother, but this the same woman who told her son to "whoop his a**" in regard to his conflict with "Two pistols". She encouraged her son to act on the same mentality that eventually led to his killing.

I will never forget my Boys Jumped a Dude but I never Jumped in and touched the Guy. The same dude who got Jumped Saw me by myself He had 20 killers with him but he knew I never Jumped in cus some females told him that I was standing with them they could've killed me but instead the guy thanked me for not jumping in I was scared as shit

There was no reason to pull up on Barry that time. They already stomped him out earlier. That should've been the end of it.

One thing that stood out to me is when he’s said his momma said whoop his ass so I had to whoop his ass. As a grown man we need to stop allowing women to book us into altercations that can ultimately cost us our lives or freedom. I know that’s not the Same situation where he got killed, but it shows the type of woman who raised him. Conflict resolution is a skill and you need that when you’re in a privileged position and have an opportunity of a lifetime. R.I.P Dolla

I knew Aubrey as my Suite Mate my first year at Clark Atlanta; my player partner. I also new Dollars mother and two of his sisters; one of his sisters was the BM of my closest friend in Atlanta. I even “knew” the broad it all started over; she was bad but she was not worth all of this, she was definitely for the streets. This whole situation was sad from beginning to end. Everybody lost in this scenario. We as black people need to start respecting each other and having more respect for the lives we have been blessed with. Period

Bro, dumb move! He thought he was going to jump the same guy he jumped before, over a girl, and paid with his life. Couldn't just peace it up. Couldn't just kept it moving. Couldn't just enjoy life and look forward to all the blessings. Next thing you know you running for your life and get four to the body. Damn bro how ignorant is that?! To all: if ya can peace it up do it! Fuc ego. A true man talks his problems out without violence. These dudes be having everything working out for them and then boom! Do some dumb shit. Bro, live to be a hundred, not dead at 25 or whatever. It just sucks to watch. RIP🕊🕊

“He made a choice to take my son away”? I mean but your son made a choice to walk up on him though right? Your son could’ve went the whole other direction, or just avoided it altogether right? We’re all defined by the choices we make. There’s always 2 sides to a coin. Sad that he lost his life, but he could’ve left it alone. He would’ve probably still be here today. U gotta hold your son accountable for the decisions he made in this situation too.
