She made everything up. Even Budd Hopkins was angry with her because she pretended to be a witness, a male cousin of her own, in a disguised voice on the phone, and he recognized her voice. She also wrote all her letters from alleged eyewitnesses herself. But Hopkins was just too gullible with her, he really wanted to help her like everyone else and he trusted them.

Napolitano's son continued to be fodder for the fantasies of this attention-seeking, deluded woman. And while she persisted with her lies, her son's mental health continued to nosedive. Strikingly too, he doesn't get a mention in her complaints about the Netflix series, which seem to focus on make-up and costumes.
