I'm old enough to remember when "getting directions" or "stopping for directions" was an essential part of going somewhere you've never been. It was a special skill to remember or visualize the instructions and then execute them.

Dude, Lodi Pizza is the best pizza on the planet. Everytime I fly up to NJ from Florida I always make a special trip to go there and get pizza. It was my fathers favorite pizza place growing up in the 1960s and 70s.
